"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." (Mother Teresa)

It takes a village to serve lunches to 250 people over three days each week. This week, we'd like to send a shout-out to the volunteer pickers and drivers of Not Far From The Tree, who provided us with delicious fruit this week.

And to our own Elizabeth, shown here with the juice and jams she created from their delivery.

We are blessed and grateful to be supported by a village who help us feed those in need each and every week.

"Every single time you help somebody stand up, you are helping humanity rise." (Dr. Steve Maraboli)

We had a couple of special visitors to the Mustard Seed lunch program today -- Toronto-Danforth MP Julie Dabrusin and her assistant, Tom. They stopped by to meet our guests and help serve lunch.

Here's Julie and our own Sister Kristine Fernandes with Natalie, one our guests, and Tom with Charlie.

Thank you, Julie and Tom, for stopping by -- and for all you do to help our community rise.

"Walking with God is the best adventure, finding God is the best achievement, and having God as a companion is the best source of happiness." (Nishan Panwar)
